PLASTIC in kurkure!!!na thats just a RUMOUR!!!!!! enjoy eating ur favourite kurkure:p

Plastic in kurkure??  na thats just a rumour!!!!

Kurkure....yummy it is the is fundoo timepass snack all over the world. But when we grab it to have a nice snack there are people around us telling “ don’t eat it !!kurkure contains plastic”. So we drop down the idea of eating kurkure there after. As far i am concerned I never allowed my friend to eat kurkure telling that it contains plastic and throw it from her because someone told me the same thing.

Lets come to reality, kurkure is a packed snack food which contains rice meal, corn meal, gram meal, edible oil, seasonings , salt, spices and condiments and flavours. All these ingredients are healthy. Now you must be wondering why it burns like plastic??and forms a melted mass, but it does not happen with other snacks.

Okay the answer for this unveiling rumour is that, if you have a closer look at the kurkure u will see  the sheen on its surface. This is because of the use of dried starch which is CARBOHYDRATE. Hence when we burn it the melted plastic like mass is STARCH. So  Definitely, when you burn Kurkure, Kurkure melts. When any carbohydrate snack (like gol gappas, matharees and namkeens) is burnt, it burns the same way like Kurkure burns. But that does not mean that those snacks contain plastic.
So this rumour is ridiculously started because of making a word short!do u believe that. The term plasticiser in the food could be used for any product which makes it soft and in the case of kurkure it is VEGETABLE oil, hence the term plasticizer is misnomer as plastic.

And kurkure is not only a safe product but also a healthier snack. IT is not harmful to health. The product is made with rice bran oil which is one of the healthier oils as it is naturally high in the good fats and low in saturated fats.
All of these ingredients are used in the daily kitchens for cooking. If Kurkure contains plastic, then it means the dishes we cook at home also contain plastic.
On second thoughts, Kurkure is not edible then how can anyone even eat and digest Kurkure. If at all there was plastic in it. Enjoy eating kurkukure after all it is not plastic..
Think before u spread the rumour!!!! 'Tedha Hai Par Mera Hai'
